Our designer

Our furniture is developed by Lavvo's owner; designer and cabinetmaker Inger Lise Hole. It happens in our prototype workshop and showroom just off Kolsåstoppen in Bærum. Our boss would rather breathe in a little wood dust in the workshop than sit too long in front of the computer. She also has a background as a journalist and PR Manager in the business world, but thinks carpentry is the coolest. By a good margin.

Measuring success in sports currency
Lavvo was created with a desire to construct a life outside the norm. A life where there is flexibility to go hiking, cycling and surfing when the conditions are good. And a life where there is room to implement design ideas that have a habit of striking like lightning in the head when they come.

We measure success in bodies that can withstand a punch, not in money. And we love both the sight of beautiful nature and a well-designed piece of furniture in the living room.
